## Description

The Senior Data Project Associate (Database) will support the development, testing, and maintenance of databases and digital data collection tools.

The incumbent will work under the general supervision of the Data Officer and direct supervision of the National Data & Information Management Officer.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing, testing, and maintaining databases and digital data collection tools

- Programming and deploying data collection forms on Kobo/ODK or other platforms

- Contributing to the development and management of surveys and questionnaires

- Compiling, consolidating, and harmonizing data from various sources

- Applying data quality assurance procedures

- Cleaning and documenting data corrections

- Producing primary analyses and statistical tables

- Preparing databases for analysis and contributing to the production of analytical products

- Providing technical support to field teams and partners

- Proposing solutions for continuous improvement and automation of data processes

- Maintaining technical documentation of databases

The ideal candidate should have a degree in computer science, database management, statistics, economics, social sciences, or a related field, along with four years of relevant professional experience.

Required skills include proficiency in French, experience with Microsoft technologies, MS Office, and Excel, as well as experience with data collection, cleaning, analysis, and management.

Preferred skills include knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, and experience working with UN agencies or international organizations.
