## Description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Equities Post-Trade team at Millennium, a global alternative investment firm.

The successful candidate will own test strategy and execution for new features, partnering with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders from design through release.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing comprehensive test scenarios and edge cases across the trade lifecycle

- Independently calculating expected P&L results and reconciling exceptions

- Designing, building, and maintaining automated test coverage across Java/Spring Boot microservices, REST and GraphQL APIs, and data workflows

- Validating batch and workflow behavior, including reruns, failures, and cache consistency

- Building data-validation and reconciliation checks to protect data integrity

- Expanding regression coverage and quality gates within CI pipelines

- Tracking, triaging, and documenting defects

The ideal candidate will have:

- Prior fintech or capital-markets experience in quality engineering for pre-trade or post-trade equity systems

- 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering and test automation

- Hands-on knowledge of corporate actions and option expiry

- Strong Java test-automation skills, including JUnit or TestNG, REST Assured, Spring Boot Test, and Mockito

- Experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs

- Advanced SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation

- Familiarity with Kubernetes on AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery practices
