## Description

We are seeking a Summer Analyst to join our Client Data & Engineering Group (CDEG) team.

The CDEG team focuses on using data, analytics, and AI to generate insights that support how the business understands clients and opportunities.

As a Summer Analyst, you will work on projects combining data, analytics, and AI to generate insights across Markets and the wider Investment Bank.

Responsibilities:

- Analyse complex datasets to generate insights

- Build dashboards, visualisations, and analytical outputs

- Support development of data-driven tools and analytical capabilities

- Contribute to AI and machine learning use cases focused on insight generation and workflow enhancement

- Work with structured datasets to improve data quality and usability

- Collaborate with stakeholders across Markets, Banking, and Technology

You will gain practical experience of how data, analytics, and AI are applied across the business.

Requirements:

- Students in their penultimate year from any academic background with an interest in data, analytics, and financial markets

- Enjoy working with data and solving problems

- Demonstrate structured thinking and analytical capability

- Be curious about financial markets and insight generation

- Communicate clearly and work well in teams

- Be adaptable, proactive, and keen to learn

Experience with data analysis, programming (e.g., Python, SQL), or AI/ML concepts is beneficial but not required.
