## Description

We are seeking a Senior Ecologist to join our Hamilton office as part of our National Ecology team. You will provide practical, evidence-based ecological advice for mining, energy, transport, water, and other infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

- Provide practical, evidence-based ecological advice for mining, energy, transport, water, and other infrastructure projects

- Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to the growth of a high-performing ecology team

- Collaborate with clients, iwi, stakeholders, regulators, industry partners, and multidisciplinary project teams

- Contribute to business development, client engagement, and the growth of WSP's ecology capability across key sectors

Requirements:

- Relevant tertiary qualification and ideally 5+ years' professional experience

- Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP), or working towards it

- Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills

- Proven ability to work collaboratively and build relationships at all levels

- Commitment to WSP's guiding principles: valuing people, fostering collaboration, and challenging the status quo
