## Description

We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Priory Hospital Newbury, Berkshire. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients rebuild their independence, develop essential life skills and achieve meaningful progress.

Combining clinical expertise with leadership, you will deliver personalised therapy while supporting your team to provide outstanding, person-centred care.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to individual patient needs.

- Developing, implementing and reviewing person-centred treatment plans that promote independence, daily functioning and meaningful recovery goals.

- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, contributing to clinical assessments, care planning, risk management and decision-making.

- Providing clinical leadership, guidance and supervision to junior occupational therapists, students and the wider therapy team.

- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring practice meets professional standards, Priory policies and best practice guidelines.

To be considered for this role, you must be HCPC registered and hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy, or a degree, honours degree, or Master's in Occupational Therapy. Prior experience working in mental health services as a qualified member of staff, experience supervising Occupational Therapists or Occupational Therapy Assistants and students, and training in relevant models are also essential.
