## Description

We're seeking 1 to 2 part-time pharmacy technicians to join our team in North Richland Hills, TX. No experience is needed, as we'll provide training. This role is ideal for students, especially those pursuing careers in healthcare, such as pre-med or pre-nursing.

As a pharmacy technician, you'll work in a fast-paced environment, learning about medicines, filling prescriptions, and interacting with patients. You'll also have opportunities to troubleshoot insurance and develop your clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge.

If you stay with us long enough to get PTCB certified, we'll teach you to administer vaccines!

**Responsibilities:**

- Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently

- Interact with patients and provide excellent customer service

- Troubleshoot insurance issues

- Learn about medicines and healthcare

- Develop clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge

**Requirements:**

- Must be at least 16 years old

- Attention and focus

- Customer service orientation

- Communication skills

- Mathematical reasoning

- Problem resolution

- Physical demands include standing for long periods, moving about on foot, and lifting up to 30 lbs

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting

- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician

- PTCB national certification
