## Description

IOM invites applications for a Driver position in Pemba, Mozambique.

The successful candidate will provide driving services for IOM vehicles in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner to support projects and operational activities in the area of responsibility.

**Responsibilities:**

- Drive IOM vehicles and transport authorized personnel.

- Perform day-to-day maintenance of assigned vehicles and ensure roadworthiness.

- Keep records of safety tools and equipment for vehicles and conduct weekly inventory.

- Ensure regular service intervals for vehicles and report any malfunctions.

- Keep vehicles clean inside and outside.

- Ensure sufficient fuel and technical readiness for field trips.

- Carry out security protocols to reduce potential threats.

- Report any accidents or incidents immediately.

- Maintain vehicle logbooks and update them regularly.

- Adhere to IOM code of conduct and UNDSS/MOSS Compliance.

**Qualifications:**

- Secondary school certificate.

- Valid driving license with at least two years of experience.

- Experience in driving four-wheel vehicles, soft skin vehicles, and minibuses.

- Knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor vehicle repair.

- Good knowledge of routes within Cabo Delgado.

- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

- Experience with HF and VHF radios.

- Fluency in Portuguese and English (oral and written).

**Contract Details:**

- Special Short Term Graded contract (up to 9 months).

- Initial contract duration: 3 months.
