## Description

We are seeking an experienced Casualty Loss Adjuster to join our growing Casualty team. As a Casualty Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and handling casualty claims, liaising with insurers, policyholders, and brokers, and compiling evidence and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and brokers

- Investigate allocated claims in the field or from the desk

- Compile necessary evidence and documentation

- Prepare preliminary reports

- Determine appropriate action for resolution of the case

- Defend or negotiate settlement within agreed authority limits

- Correspond with all parties to progress the case to conclusion

- Investigate and handle cases in accordance with client requirements

- Maintain proper reserves and keep updated on technical changes

Requirements:

- Previous loss adjuster experience

- Experience of investigating and handling casualty claims

- Knowledge of insurance and the insurance market

- Knowledge of legal principles, regulations, and acts

- Good communication skills

- Excellent customer service

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Good planning and organisational skills

- Strong IT skills

- Full driver's licence essential
