## Description

We are seeking an experienced Trade Management UI Engineer to join our FIC Shared Services team in Pune, India. As a senior engineer, you will design and develop the next generation of web-based trade management tools used globally by all business units.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance React applications.

- Deliver clean, reusable, and production-quality code using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.

- Contribute to front-end solution design, component architecture, and development standards.

- Develop reusable components and libraries to improve consistency and engineering productivity.

- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and enterprise services.

- Develop comprehensive unit and component tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent technologies.

- Participate actively in technical design discussions, code reviews, and engineering improvements.

- Identify and resolve application performance, stability, and maintainability issues.

- Collaborate with back-end engineers, UX/design, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Troubleshoot complex development and production issues and contribute to sustainable fixes.

- Support the modernization of legacy applications and adoption of current front-end technologies.

- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge across the team.

- Take ownership of assigned components and features from design through production delivery and support.

**Requirements:**

- 8+ years of software development experience, with strong experience in front-end/web application development.

- Strong hands-on experience with React and modern React development practices.

- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).

- Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.

- Good understanding of React Hooks, component design, and reusable development patterns.

- Strong experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.

- Understanding of client-side architecture and common front-end design patterns.

- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or similar testing frameworks.

- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern build/package-management tooling.

- Understanding of browser compatibility and front-end performance considerations.

- Awareness of secure web-development practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to develop well-tested, maintainable, and performant software.

- Experience working within Agile development environments, including tools such as Jira.

- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
