## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Skilled Rehab and Home Health team at Good Samaritan St Luke's and St John's. The position is full-time, 35-40 hours per week, M-F, covering Skilled Nursing Facilities and surrounding area Home Health clients. We currently treat conditions such as orthopedic, weakness, balance/falls/gait, cervical/back pain, general deconditioning, and other various conditions.

As a Physical Therapist, you will plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. You will conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.

You will utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards, document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation, establish therapeutic plans, and modify them if necessary. You will educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.

You will demonstrate flexibility with acceptance of variable work schedules/assignments, participate in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society, and Sanford Health, and interact with individuals outside of the department, including providers, case managers, third-party payers, public organizations, companies/contractual partners, etc.

You will be expected to provide ongoing education and training to peers in the area(s) of expertise as determined by the department leadership and perform other related duties as requested by manager.

Based on facility needs and assigned locations, you may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long-term care, and home health care environments.
