## Description

This hybrid role is based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, and requires 3 days of office presence per week.

As a Software Engineer within Cisco's Collaboration Devices group, you will design and implement cutting-edge software features for Cisco Phone and Room devices, enabling hybrid work environments.

Key responsibilities:

- Collaborate with senior technical leaders and cross-functional engineering teams to build robust, scalable solutions

- Design and implement software features for Cisco Phone and Room devices

- Work with performance-critical, device-level applications using C and C++ programming languages

- Experience with software development for embedded systems or network devices

- Use Python or Java for scripting and automation tasks, application development, and integration within device software

- Manage and write automation tests for production-ready CI/CD pipelines

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with version control systems such as Git and command-line tools

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new programming languages and technologies

Salary range: $128,600.00 - $184,900.00 per year (U.S. and Canada locations)
