The Product Analytics team at Aetna, a CVS Health company, engages with various functional teams across CVS businesses to serve members with better insurance products and support Sales teams in selling the right product to the right customer.

As a Lead Decision Scientist, you will play a key role in building cross-functional coalitions, defining product roadmaps that drive the most impact, and engaging with the Data Science team to deliver business solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Structuring ambiguous business problems into analytics frameworks

- Translating data insights into recommendations for business decisions

- Guiding the evaluation of business impact for decisions

- Prioritizing possible actions based on value, feasibility and risk

- Excelling in stakeholder management and consulting with multiple business functions

- Recommending data-driven decisions to grow business impact

- Delivering solutions built by the Data Science team into the hands of stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience from strategy consulting and analytics

- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners

- Deep content-specific knowledge as a business specialist

- Ability to translate business questions into analytics frameworks using the language of Data Scientists

- Experience presenting executive-ready stories with concise recommendations

- Strong project management skills and ability to identify delivery risks

- High level of ownership for business problems, roadmap prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and impact measurement

Requirements:

- 4+ years of business experience leading mid-scale initiatives

- 7+ years total business experience

- 2+ years of stakeholder management experience

- 4+ years of experience with strategy consulting or on strategy teams in large companies

- Ability to work with data using SQL and Python

- Experience reviewing analytical methods and outputs

Preferred qualifications:

- 3+ years in a consulting firm using data to solve client engagement

- Experience in collecting user requirements and translating them into functional requirements for a data analytics solution

- Experience in leading projects with Agile methodologies

- Healthcare sector experience

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field

- Master's degree in a quantitative field or MBA strongly preferred

Pay Range: $142,140.00 - $284,280.00
