## Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer at 3M, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient manufacturing of a primary process area within the Knoxville, Iowa facility. Your main objectives will be to deliver results in Safety, Service, Quality, Cost, and Engagement.

You will make an impact by:

- Developing and implementing improvements related to safety, quality, service, and cost

- Driving cost and productivity improvements through Continuous Improvement projects

- Leading cross-functional projects and plans in support of business and strategic plans

- Communicating project direction and status to personnel

- Engaging in daily operations to meet service targets

- Guiding new product introduction efforts and completing experimental runs

- Representing 3M Knoxville during internal and external customer interactions and audits

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- A Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline from an accredited institution

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Excellent communication skills

Preferred qualifications include:

- Master's degree or higher from an accredited university

- Experience in a manufacturing environment

- Experience in leading multi-functional teams through complex projects

- Experience in supporting new product development and commercialization

- Experience in lean manufacturing or Aerospace Industry

The expected compensation range for this position is $98,964 - $120,957, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
