## Description

We are seeking an Analyst to join our Global Markets team. As an Analyst, you will participate in the day-to-day activities of the markets division, providing insights and expertise to help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities.

Responsibilities:

- Execute small research projects to support strategic decision making

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives

- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

- Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and manage the deployment and launch of new products and services

- Manage client relationships and provide customer service support

- Develop and implement financial models and strategies to support decision making

- Train and mentor junior colleagues

As an Analyst, you will be expected to:

- Perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard

- Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge and experience in your assigned area of expertise

- Lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development

- Partner with other functions and business areas

- Take responsibility for end results of a team's operational processing and activities

- Escalate breaches of policies and procedures

- Maintain and build an understanding of how your sub-function integrates with the function

- Demonstrate understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the organisation's objectives

- Make evaluative judgements based on analysis of factual information

- Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions

- Guide and persuade team members and communicate complex information

- Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function

Requirements:

- Successfully complete an undergraduate or postgraduate degree between September 2027 – June 2028

- Unrestricted work authorisation in Japan (ideally)
