## Description

SpaceXAI’s mission is to create AI systems that can accurately understand the universe and aid humanity in its pursuit of knowledge.

As a Power Generation Technician at SpaceXAI, you'll operate and maintain critical facility systems that power our supercomputing data centers. You'll work hands-on with MEP systems, tackling maintenance, operations, and repairs to ensure peak performance and reliability.

## Responsibilities:

- Ensure site safety and environmental compliance for MEP infrastructure, aligning with local and regional health and safety requirements.

- Provide operational expertise for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems at the data center facility, including pumps, piping, chillers, cooling towers, and generators.

- Conduct routine inspections to maintain performance measures and proactively identify problems.

- Write and execute MOPs, SOPs, EOPs, and perform daily inspections of critical systems.

- Identify and maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and coordinate scheduled system shutdowns.

- Develop and implement energy monitoring metrics and support commissioning efforts.

## Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 2+ years of hands-on operations/facilities work experience.

- Knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering principles and systems.

- Experience with critical systems documentation, Building and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems, and Operations.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with PLC-based control systems and Building Management Systems.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

## Physical Requirements:

- Lift up to 50 lbs.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools as needed.

- Work in tight quarters with physical dexterity.

- Lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted.

- Work at elevated heights with safety gear.

- Work in extreme outdoor environments.

- Flexible shifts for 24x7 coverage.

- Pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing.

- Pre-employment and annual post-employment background checks.

- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (up to 10%).
