## Description

The Autonomous Vehicles Platform team at NVIDIA is looking for a hands-on Cybersecurity Software Engineer to work on the Autonomous Driving Platform software. You will implement performant and scalable solutions for data collection and autonomous vehicle fleets. The team develops platform and middleware features for self-driving cars, including software security features that interact with various sensors such as Cameras, LIDAR, RADAR, GPS, IMU, and Vehicle CAN.

**Responsibilities:**

- Integrate security features into the AV driving software stack.

- Develop and improve security work-products for the AV stack.

- Work on security-related software code, from sensor abstraction layers to data processing to middleware software.

- Guide other teams with security mechanism implementation and work on security governance topics.

- Collaborate with hardware, platform software, product, safety, performance, algorithms, and cloud teams.

**Requirements:**

- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 8+ years of professional experience working on system software.

- Excellent programming skills in C++, C, and Python.

- Familiarity with source control tools and solid understanding of Linux, QNX, ROS, and/or real-time operating systems.

- Experience in developing user-space system software, with a willingness to delve into kernel-space and/or low-level hardware when needed.

- Knowledge about embedded system programming, threading, mutex, synchronization, communication, and parallel computing.

- Familiarity with hardware architecture for CPU/GPU and memory alongside performance.

- Prior experience working in areas such as Autonomous Vehicles, Robotics, Self-Driving-Cars, GPU technology, Embedded Systems, and Computer Vision.

- Outstanding communication skills and teamwork.
