## Description

At Bayer, we're seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Technician to drive Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) safety programs at our Payette, ID site. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with employees across the site to ensure a safe and compliant workplace for all employees and support the Site Lead in establishing a successful culture of safety, maintaining compliance items, and meeting environmental requirements.

Your responsibilities will include providing leadership and guidance to site employees and safety program owners, co-developing annual safety programs with the Site Lead and site safety committee, performing site-required job observations, gap analyses, audits, and inspections, and organizing and scheduling all Industrial Hygiene (IH) monitoring required for the site.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of regulatory knowledge in HSE, Federal OSHA, and building codes, as well as the ability to analyze data and complete regulatory permits and correspondence.
