## Description

We're seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our Manufacturing Automation team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to help define what production automation looks like for Anduril at a national scale.

As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for owning controls systems end-to-end as technical system owner, deploying and maintaining OT server infrastructure, designing and maintaining OT networking stack, developing Ignition Perspective SCADA applications, architecting, developing, and debugging PLC code, applying defense-grade OT security practices, and partnering with IT, Security, FactoryOS, and Manufacturing Engineering on cross-functional initiatives.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Information Technology, or related field, 6+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment, strong PLC programming skills on Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens platforms, proficiency in Ignition SCADA development, and working knowledge of OT cybersecurity.

Preferred qualifications include experience in regulated or defense manufacturing environments, experience integrating controls systems with MES and QMS platforms, experience with servo drives, VFDs, PID tuning, and functional-safety implementations, and experience deploying Ignition in redundant/high-availability gateway topologies.

US Salary Range: $146,000-$194,000 USD.
