## Description

KIPP SoCal Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Principal to join their team. The Assistant Principal will play a vital role in the success of students, families, and staff. They will partner with the School Leader and other leaders to drive exceptional academic achievement and a joyful, values-driven school culture.

Responsibilities:

- Model and support implementation of the school's vision and goals

- Support development of School Leader's school-wide vision and take an active role in investing and mobilizing teachers to achieve collective goals

- Own implementation of select school priorities in support of the school-wide vision

- Lead planning and goal setting for grades/departments and ensure alignment with school-wide goals

- Contribute to school-wide planning and prioritize time to accomplish goals

- Provide input into school-based strategic planning

Administration & Leadership:

- Develop emerging leaders with School Leader's guidance

- Support School Leader in identifying and developing teachers and leaders

- Build own and direct reports' instructional knowledge of standards, content, and instructional methods

- Lead data-driven instruction and monitor progress

- Recommend school-wide professional development to improve student results

- Lead engaging, actionable, adult-learning workshops

- Model strong staff and student culture and manage school-wide character development and behavior management systems

- Instructional Leadership: Adept at data analysis and expertise in academic standards and state assessments
