## Description

We are currently hiring for a Senior Target Security Specialist (STSS) role in our Supply Chain Asset Protection team.

The pay range for this position is $20.82 - $37.45 per hour, with potential additional compensation through shift differentials ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour.

As a Senior Target Security Specialist (STSS), you will lead a physical security and safety culture at a Target supply chain facility through best practices and physical security program management. Your responsibilities will include:

- Executing strategic routines to identify, prevent, and investigate theft and shortage

- Leveraging technology, stores partnership, supply chain partnership, reporting, and security tactics

- Operating Target-owned vehicles to perform yard and perimeter patrol routines

- Leading and/or supporting projects that contribute to enterprise-wide assets protection initiatives

- Executing emergency procedures and protocols in the event of emergencies

- Supporting the onboarding of new Asset Protection team members

- Reviewing and updating routine documentation as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- High school degree or equivalent

- Minimum 18 years of age

- Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and remain calm during crisis situations

- Proven ability to work with highly confidential information

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one

- Ability to prioritize tasks and remain composed in a fast-paced environment

- Capability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements

- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs.

- Ability to be trained on and operate powered equipment safely

- Ability to operate technology systems with minimal direction

- Reliable and prompt attendance

- Prior experience in loss prevention, shortage mitigation, security, or similar (preferred)
