## Description

We are seeking a Funeral Service Manager to join our Co-op Funeralcare team in Essex. As a Funeral Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of funeral directors and arrangers across your region.

Your main duties will include:

- Leading and coaching a team of funeral directors and arrangers

- Building strong relationships with colleagues to drive high standards of funeral service

- Inspiring teams to achieve high standards of client care

- Analysing management information to identify opportunities for improvement

- Taking an active role in the community to promote our services

- Ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting certified colleagues

- Managing resources and ensuring funeral plan arrangement cover

- Handling client complaints and issues

- Carrying out inspections of funeral homes

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Real commercial focus and ability to spot opportunities

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

- Confidence communicating and presenting to all kinds of people

- Ability to coach and mentor teams

- Great relationship building and customer service skills

- Ability to communicate professionally and sensitively with clients

- An open mind when working with the deceased

- A UK manual driving licence
