## HSE & Environmental Officer

**Job Summary:**

The HSE & Environmental Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental and health and safety regulations, as well as promoting a positive and proactive approach to environmental management and health and safety within the organisation.

**Responsibilities:**

- Identify and pursue actions or problems reflected in PRL evaluations and reports, in accordance with legal requirements and identification of hazards or risks and environmental impacts.

- In coordination with HR, launch training activities in PRL and develop a training plan with HR:

- Identify training needs

- Define competencies by position

- Conduct internal and external communications.

- In coordination with SPA (External Prevention Service), have all workstations, work equipment, materials, etc. evaluated in accordance with current regulations.

- Supervise risk assessments carried out by the External Prevention Service, in coordination with this service.

- Launch annual and continuous preventive planning, according to detected risks and proposed improvements, leading the process in a proactive manner.

- Ensure compliance with legislation on coordination of business activities (CAE) of the plant.

- Part of the team, together with the Industrial Department and Projects, in the implementation of new machines, processes, substances, etc. in collaboration with SPA, OCA necessary.

- Supervise compliance with the law, as well as manage relationships and notifications of the plant with official bodies in matters of safety and health at work and the environment (town hall, generalitat, inspection, Invassat...).

- Promote and lead in a proactive manner, the positive evolution and compliance of an annual action plan for the Environment or an environmental programme, which guarantees compliance, continuous improvement, training and awareness in accordance with ISO14001.

- Lead the environmental emergency plan.

- Investigate accidents and incidents in matters of PRL and the Environment, and launch corrective and preventive actions as appropriate.

**Requirements:**

- University degree with a Master's degree in PRL (Safety, Ergonomics and Psychosocial) or University degree in PRL.

- Technical environmental studies.

- Extensive experience in the HSE area in a manufacturing environment.

- Environmental management (ISO14001).

- Prevention management (ISO 45001).

- Experience in the automotive industry will be valued.
