## Description

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Ashby Court Care Home in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in driving a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality, personal care to our residents.

You will have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in care or higher, and have previous experience in the role. You will be motivated, positive, and have great interpersonal skills, with a passion for making a real difference to people's lives.

Key responsibilities include:

- Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit

- Supporting with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record keeping

- Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants

- Helping with training and supervision of new staff members

- Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams

- Assisting residents with personal care duties
