## Description

As a Data Engineer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for acquiring, curating, and publishing data both on-prem and in the cloud for analytical or operational uses. You will ensure that the data is in a ready-to-use form that creates a single version of the truth across all data consumers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Consulting on data projects of intermediate complexity to understand design requirements and existing business processes

- Leading in the design, development, and implementation of data products

- Producing data building blocks, data models, and data flows for varying client requests

- Creating business user access methods to structured and unstructured data

- Utilizing techniques such as mapping data to a common data model, natural language processing, and transforming data as necessary to satisfy business rules

- Translating business data stories into a technical story breakdown structure and work estimates for a schedule or planned agile sprint

- Developing and maintaining moderately complex scalable data pipelines for both streaming and batch requirements

- Building out new API integrations to support increased demands of data volume and complexity

Requirements:

- Insurance Domain Knowledge - Intermediate

- Property & Casualty Insurance - Intermediate

- Software / Tool Skills: AWS or similar platform, DBT, Snowflake, Airflow or related, Data Analysis & Profiling, Data Architecture & Modelling, SQL & Python - all Intermediate (4-6 Years)
