## Description

Boeing is seeking a Senior or Experienced Mechanism Design Engineer to support Proprietary Advanced Weapons Programs in St. Louis, MO. This program requires individuals who excel at interdisciplinary collaboration and systems thinking. The program aims to provide new capabilities rapidly through prototyping, operating in unique environments with emphasis on safety, security, and reliability.

**Responsibilities**

- Support the development and documentation of mechanical systems and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design

- Support the development, maintenance, or modification of system, component, and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups

- Perform and document system performance using computational analysis tools to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications

- Perform detail design development of mechanical system installations

- Contribute to supplier development, test, and production activities and direct the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals

- Prepare technical documents for mechanical components and systems

- Support system components' design/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation

**Requirements**

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences)

- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

- Experience with 3D solid modeling software applications (e.g., NX, Catia, CADD)

- Experience with mechanism/kinematic design

- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

**Preferred Qualifications**

- 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

- Experience with Unigraphics (UG)

- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

- Experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation
