## Description

We're looking for a Production Operations Lead Technician to join our team in Torrance, CA. As a lead technician, you will provide day-to-day technical leadership for composite technicians, coordinate daily work priorities, and support safe and efficient execution to achieve area goals.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide technical leadership for composite technicians

- Mentor, train, and coach technicians to develop relevant skills

- Act as safety champion of the area, eliminating hazards and driving compliance

- Partner with Engineering to translate build requirements into clear technician workstreams

- Monitor progress, resolve issues, and escalate risks to ensure delivery against production timelines

- Oversee the manufacturing of composite structures

- Ensure quality of hardware and adequate training of technicians

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- 2+ years experience leading or mentoring technicians in a production environment

- 3+ years of experience working in a production and manufacturing environment

- Extensive hands-on experience in composites manufacturing

- Proficiency using mechanical and electric hand tools, along with test equipment

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and product data sheets

- Physically capable of standing 6–10 hours per day and lifting up to 50 lbs

- Adaptable and able to work extended hours when production demands require

**Bonus Qualifications:**

- High school degree or GED certification

- Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting

- Comfortable pushing an intense but sustainable pace

- Enthusiasm for boating, clean energy, and the water
