## Description

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Regulated Water Asset Design team, serving the municipal water sector in the UK and internationally. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of all aspects of project delivery, manage multi-disciplinary teams, shape the delivery of services, build relationships with clients, contribute to innovation and digital products, and act as an ambassador for best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

- Taking ownership of project delivery, including health and safety, technical, quality, schedule, and budget

- Managing multi-disciplinary teams

- Shaping service delivery and identifying opportunities for complementary services

- Building client relationships to ensure project outcomes and customer satisfaction

- Contributing to innovation, new services, and digital products

- Implementing the Future Ready and Net Zero programme

- Acting as an ambassador for best practice

- Undertaking bid preparation, resource and budget development

- Line managing and supporting graduate engineers and degree apprentices

- Contributing to team recruitment and growth

- Continuing career development through technical, managerial, and leadership skills

Requirements include:

- A degree in Civil Engineering

- Chartered status or significant progression towards ICE or CIWEM membership

- Experience in managing engineering design teams

- Experience in delivering projects to budget and schedule

- Experience in acting as a checking or technical approval role on linear civil engineering infrastructure projects

- Experience in mentoring junior civil engineering staff

- Client-facing experience

- Good presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
