## Description

We are seeking a Logistics Yard Coordinator to join our team at Target. As a Logistics Yard Coordinator, you will be responsible for the execution of daily trailer movement within Target's Distribution Center Yards. You will foster a 'safety first' culture through awareness, training, and accountability. Your core responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring a safe work environment for all drivers that enter Target's yard

- Operating Target-owned vehicles to execute yard audit routines

- Updating the yard management system to reflect the current status of all trailers in the yard

- Communicating effectively with all DC executives regarding trailer needs, movement, and progress

- Monitoring trailer releases to ensure trailers meet scheduled deliveries to stores

- Conducting trailer inventories and ensuring that the equipment is available for preventive maintenance checks

In return for your hard work, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from $20.82 to $37.45 per hour, plus additional compensation in the form of a shift differential. To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A high school degree or equivalent

- A valid driver's license

- Ability to multi-task and work in a high-volume, high-activity environment

- Experience working in a distribution center truck yard or traffic management

- Strong oral and written communication skills
