## Description

Ninja Van is seeking a Regional Senior Associate, Cross Border (Finance Operations) to join their team.

The Cross Border Team is split into three main teams: Commercial, Logistics, and Business Operations. This role lies within the Business Operations vertical in the Cross Border team, focusing on budget items below direct costs, including operating expense, central costs, and EBIT.

The Finance Operations Senior Associate will work with various stakeholders from local finance to operation teams to ensure that shippers' disputes are resolved and AR is collected timely. The Senior Associate will also assist with finance operation improvement to streamline existing processes, preparation of month-end billing files, and monitoring of Aged Receivables.

Key responsibilities:

- Generate AR visibility reports for different stakeholders

- Monitor shipper payment receipts to determine poor paymasters

- Lead meetings with local finances regarding AR processes and alignment matters

- Ensure timely collections of aged receivables

- Assist with finance operation improvement projects

- Prepare month-end billing files and monitor Aged Receivables

- Guide junior members of the team in the execution of BAU tasks and AR collections

Requirements:

- At least 4 years of relevant working experience in an Accounting or Finance-related function

- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance

- Preferably candidates with a logistics background and regional exposure

- Detail-oriented, confident, and effective communication skills

- Demonstrated experience in executing complex multi-stakeholder commercial projects

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong knowledge of formulas and functions

- Experience with data validation, conditional formatting, and handling large datasets is a must

- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage
