## Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer - Civils to work as part of WSP's UK iCRC Water team in Bengaluru.

The successful candidate will lead the technical delivery of a range of projects relating to water and wastewater infrastructure works from the Bengaluru office.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading day-to-day liaison with UK project managers and engineers to ensure project deliverables meet client scope, budget, timescales, and quality requirements.

- Driving innovation and digital delivery culture.

- Supporting the Team Leader with resource and other management duties.

- Supporting technical development of engineers, technicians, and graduates.

- Carrying out checks and reviews of projects to assure quality delivery.

Requirements:

- Excellent command of written and verbal English.

- Demonstrable technical understanding of UK Water Industry standards and norms.

- Problem-solving and originality.

- Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Dynamic, self-motivated individual with leadership skills.

- Cultural awareness, conscientiousness, and excellent communication skills.

- High degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others.

- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

- Accountability and big-picture thinking.

- Carefulness and responsibility.

- Willingness to travel to the UK for short-term assignments and training.

- Strong attention to detail and sound judgement.

Qualifications:

- M.Tech, MS, or bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.

- 12-15 years of experience in delivering projects to the UK Water Industry.

- Professional accreditation from ICE or CIWEM.

- Experience with water and wastewater treatment plants projects.

- Understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure design concepts and hydraulics.

- Experience reviewing design drawings developed by CAD/BIM Technicians using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and Plant 3D.
