## Description

We are seeking a Seasonal Distribution Associate to join our team at Sur La Table's distribution center in Brownsburg, IN. As a Seasonal Distribution Associate, you will contribute to the success of Sur La Table by ensuring accurate orders, meeting set target rates per hour, and maintaining product integrity and quality standards throughout the distribution process.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

- Perform procedures and documentation in a safe and efficient manner to maintain high-quality finished products

- Meet quality and productivity standards

- Work in cross-functional roles to assist in meeting daily productivity goals

- Maintain general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of work area

- Record time worked accurately according to SLT policy

- Follow all Sur La Table policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- Additional responsibilities as assigned

**Essential Functions**

- Communicate verbally and work cooperatively with employees, customers, and vendors

- Adapt to change and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

- Stand and/or walk for extended periods

- Read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation

- Work overtime and weekends as business dictates

- Lift and/or move merchandise weighing up to 35 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs

- Grab, reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and crouch to retrieve and/or replenish merchandise

- Ascend and descend stairs to retrieve and/or move merchandise

- Learn and operate general warehouse equipment (RF, Pallet Jack)

- Perform duties in an environment that is not climate-controlled and will be exposed to dust, odors, and noise

**Experience and Required Qualifications**

- Prior distribution experience preferred

- Experience with warehouse management systems and hand-held devices preferred

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills

- Basic math calculations for selecting, counting, and checking work

- Must be at least 18 years old
