## Description

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team at AVL Maroc SARL AU. As a Design Engineer, you will design and develop 3D components and assemblies for BIW, Interior, and Exterior applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing and developing 3D components and assemblies for BIW, Interior, and Exterior applications.

- Developing sheet metal and plastic components according to applicable automotive design standards and rules.

- Ensuring component integration and packaging within the vehicle environment.

- Defining and optimizing interfaces, mounting concepts, fastening systems, and functional clearances.

- Performing feasibility, clash, and integration analyses.

- Creating and updating 2D technical drawings, including functional dimensioning and GD&T.

- Performing tolerance stack-up analyses when required.

- Considering manufacturing and assembly constraints during the design phase, including DFM/DFA principles.

- Supporting design reviews and proposing technical solutions for product optimization.

- Managing CAD data, engineering changes, and technical documentation within the PLM environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.

- Professional experience in automotive mechanical design, preferably in BIW, Interior, and Exterior development.

- Good knowledge of CAD systems such as CATIA V5/V6, Creo, and 3DEXPERIENCE.

- Experience in sheet metal and plastic part design.

- Knowledge of GD&T, ISO dimensioning, and tolerance stack-up principles.

- Understanding of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal forming, stamping, injection molding, and assembly processes.

- Experience with PLM systems.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in an international and multidisciplinary environment.
