As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in acquiring new customers, cross-selling credit cards and personal loans, identifying mortgage opportunities, and migrating customers to digital solutions.

**Principal Accountabilities:**

- Acquire new-to-bank customers via bank-led deployments, customer referrals, and self-sourced prospecting

- Cross-sell credit cards and personal loans to existing and new customers

- Identify opportunities for mortgages

- Migrate customers to use digital solutions

- Engage customers confidently, understand their needs, and convert opportunities using needs-based selling

- Explain HSBC product features and benefits clearly and recommend suitable solutions

- Support customers with account opening, coordinating with relevant departments to complete required steps

- Manage post-application activities with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth processing and customer experience

- Deliver assigned KPIs and maximise revenue contribution

- Build positive, professional relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues

**Knowledge/Special Skills Requirements:**

- Minimum diploma holder and preferably 1–3 years of experience in sales/customer acquisition within banking or channel sales

- Strong interest in sales and customer acquisition; proactive, target-driven, resilient in a fast-paced environment

- Able to manage details and follow workflow/process steps accurately and efficiently

- Able to work independently, multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines

- Customer-oriented with strong communication skills; able to identify financial needs and refer appropriately

- Competent in Microsoft Office

- Fluent Vietnamese; English/Mandarin is an advantage
