## Description

The UK is making a wholesale shift to AI, and Scale wants to play a foundational role in building reliable AI applications. As a Strategist, you'll help grow Scale's UK business, partnering with technical stakeholders to identify and win opportunities across public sector and enterprise.

You will:

- Work with the UK Public Sector Lead, UK leadership, and the wider team on go-to-market strategy

- Research target departments and enterprise accounts, mapping who matters and building target lists

- Break into UK enterprise, picking sectors and accounts worth pursuing

- Build relationships and partnerships that open routes to new opportunities

- Help customers find impactful AI use cases and shape their vision for AI

- Run framework applications and tenders end to end

- Develop pitches, proposals, and executive-level documents

- Sit in on customer meetings and turn them into clear next steps

Requirements:

- At least 5 years in business development, bids, consulting, strategy, or advisory

- A real interest in AI and data, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

- Experience with AI tooling to move faster and work efficiently

- Seriously organised, good with detail, and able to keep several things moving at once

- Excellent writing skills, especially to a deadline

- Good commercial instincts and the ability to earn trust and build strong working relationships

Nice to have:

- UK public sector procurement experience

- Experience selling or supporting AI products or services

- Comfortable with CRM and performance reporting tools

- A technical or analytical background
