## Description

We are seeking a Green Team Operative to join our Horticulture team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. As a Green Team Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining the horticultural standards of our parks and open spaces throughout Tower Hamlets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out horticultural maintenance activities to a high standard

- Support improvements to designated sites and prepare for award schemes

- Maintain tools, equipment, and machinery

- Interact with the public in a courteous and efficient manner

- Participate in community events and activities

Requirements:

- Driving licence essential

- Knowledge of issues relating to parks and open spaces

- Knowledge of First Aid and Health & Safety

- Working knowledge of plants, bedding schemes, and fine turf maintenance

- Experience of working in a front-line grounds maintenance service

- Experience of maintaining green spaces to a high standard

- Ability to operate and maintain horticultural machinery and tools
