## Description

The Cisco IOS XR India group is responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and supporting solutions for large service providers and web enterprises.

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a development team responsible for feature development, testing, and integration into customer environments. You will work closely with product management teams, testing teams, and customer teams to translate requirements into working solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Develop expertise in Networking, Security & OS protocols

- Learn Cisco development/unit-test environments

- Issue triage/support/monitoring/resolution

- Regular interactions with product management teams, testing teams, and customer teams

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience

- Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/EC or technical equivalent

- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in C/C++

- Proven understanding of GenAI capabilities and AI-powered software development

- Sound knowledge of operating system concepts, computer networking, multithreaded programming, and system programming on UNIX-based systems

Preferred Qualifications:

- Exposure to Network Security

- Exposure to GoLang/Python

- Exposure to L2/L3 protocols, Optical networking
