## Description

NEXT is seeking a trend-driven, experienced Childrenswear Designer to design boys and girls jacket product ranges for Next Sourcing. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading range creation, spearheading trend research, producing factory-ready technical CADs, driving commercial design to cost, and collaborating with overseas vendors.

**Working Pattern:** Typically 4 days in the office, with core hours flexible between 8am-6pm.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead range creation for boys and girls jacket product ranges

- Conduct targeted market research and global inspirational travel to identify key trends

- Produce highly detailed CADs, precise colour palettes, and comprehensive technical packs

- Balance creative integrity with targeted price points

- Collaborate with global factories, fabric mills, and supply chain partners

- Work closely with Buyers, Merchandisers, and Garment Technologists

**Requirements:**

- Proven childrenswear design expertise

- Advanced technical mastery in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

- Strong practical knowledge of garment construction, fabric performance, and wash techniques

- Strategic and commercial eye for emerging trends and product margins

- Highly organised and self-motivated with excellent communication skills
