## Description

We’re Workday, a leading AI platform for managing people, money, and agents. We're seeking a Principal Outbound Product Manager to own the external narrative, go-to-market strategy, and field engagement for our agentic and AI-data capabilities.

**About the Role** As the Principal Outbound Product Manager for Data Cloud, you will play a pivotal role as the technical/domain expert who owns the external roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and competitive positioning for our Data Cloud and Platform for Agents portfolio. Sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, marketing, and sales, you will translate complex AI and data platform capabilities into compelling narratives, scaled enablement programs, and customer success.

**Responsibilities**

- Outbound Strategy & Go-to-Market: Own the external roadmap, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for Data Cloud’s agentic and AI-data capabilities, partnering with inbound product management on sequencing and launch readiness.

- Launch Ownership: Lead cross-functional launch planning across Product, Sales, Marketing, Partners, and Customer Success to coordinate timing, messaging, and enablement for new Data Cloud and Platform for Agents capabilities.

- Positioning: Translate platform capabilities into clear value propositions and commercial narratives that drive adoption and consumption.

- Consumption & Monetization: Define the adoption motions, success metrics, and customer journeys that drive sustained compute consumption, expansion, and value realization for our premium Data Cloud offerings.

- Customer & Field Engagement: Meet directly with existing and prospective customers, including CIOs, CDOs, CFOs, CHROs, and their data and AI teams, to understand use cases, present the roadmap, and shape their data and AI strategies as a trusted subject-matter expert and strategic advisor.

- Design Partner & Early Adopter Programs: Build, scale, and run design partner, early access, and customer advisory board programs for AI and agentic capabilities, converting feedback into prioritized product requirements.

- Field Enablement: Serve as the subject matter expert for Sales, Pre-Sales, Solution Architects, and Customer Success.

- Competitive Intelligence & Market Positioning: Maintain a deep, current view of the competitive landscape for enterprise data and agentic AI platforms, producing positioning and battlecards for sales and partner teams.

- Sales & Partner Enablement: Develop and deliver enablement content that equips direct sales, partner, and solution consulting teams to sell Data Cloud’s AI and data capabilities.

- Executive & Analyst Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives, keynote content, and executive/board-level materials that translate complex agentic and data platform capabilities into clear business value.

**Requirements**

- 10+ years of experience in outbound product management, product marketing, or technical product management, including experience in enterprise SaaS, cloud data, or AI platforms.

- BA, BS, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business, Data Science, or a related field.

- Demonstrated experience owning an external roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and competitive positioning for a technical or data platform.
