## Description

We are seeking a Senior Composite Design Engineer to join our Design team in Maranello, focusing on designing and developing Formula 1 car components with performance at the heart of every design decision.

The successful candidate will use their composite design expertise to deliver solutions for the car, working collaboratively across the team and supporting continuous development throughout the season.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop Formula 1 car components from concept through to completion.

- Collaborate on the planning and strategy of component development and race introduction.

- Drive continuous improvement in component design, with a strong focus on car performance.

- Contribute to concept development and composite design workload planning.

- Liaise with the Race Team on reliability matters and relevant composite design revisions.

- Carry out research and development activities to support ongoing technical development.

Requirements:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a professional motorsport environment, including design experience.

- Strong composite design expertise with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.

- Knowledge of composite and machine shop production processes.

- Experience using CATIA 3DX.

- Excellent understanding of English.

- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to remain focused in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with FEA.
