## Description

Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target involves providing a consistent and exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing handcrafted beverages and food, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver a personalised and friendly guest experience, ensuring that all customers feel valued and supported

- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages and food, adhering to Starbucks recipes and standards

- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including the coffee bar, seating area, and surrounding spaces

- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction

- Stay up-to-date with current promotions, products, and services, and communicate this information to customers

- Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and manage cash and credit payments

- Lift and move merchandise, including cases of beverages and food, weighing up to 44 pounds

- Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities

- Follow all safety protocols and reporting procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

- Previous Starbucks or food service experience is preferred, but not required

- Friendly and approachable demeanour, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly and efficiently

- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a cash register
