## Description

As a Barista with Princess Cruises, you will be an expert in your craft, possessing a deep understanding of coffee blends, the art of coffee roasting, and the delicate skill of frothing milk.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure beverage service team members act as company ambassadors and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

- Drive the service excellence culture and platform by overseeing the Bar Steward, Jr. Bar Steward & Utility F&B performance at your location.

- Partner with the Bar Supervisor to respond to guest feedback and develop an action plan for immediate service recovery or a corrective action plan to improve service.

- Own your experience areas and partner with the beverage staff to oversee the development, implementation, and execution of the product and service in accordance with brand standards.

- Prepare and maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked bar area at all times.

- Drive beverage sales performance and promotions, ensuring that you and your teammates actively upsell and promote all specialty dining venues while maintaining a guest-centric approach.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

- A minimum of two years' experience as a barista in a large hospitality setting is required.

- A Certification in barista techniques is highly desirable.

- The ability to create latte art is also desirable.

- Proficiency in operating coffee machines and grinders.

- Proficiency in the English language, both in verbal and written communication.

- Understanding of the foundation of guest service; ability and willingness to deliver outstanding service to our guests.
