## Description

We are seeking a Lead Product Analyst to join our Financial Crime team at Wise. As a Lead Analyst, you will partner with our financial crime product teams to drive data-driven and innovative growth decisions while helping to combat financial crime.

Your mission: At Wise, our mission is Money Without Borders - instant, convenient, transparent and eventually free. You will contribute to this mission by exposing vast data on our processes to product teams, creating and tracking key metrics, and working with data scientists to detect and mitigate financial crime.

Key responsibilities:

- Expose data to product teams in a meaningful and actionable way

- Proactively contribute to, own, create, track key metrics and results for product and operational teams

- Work with data scientists to understand and develop means for detecting and mitigating financial crime

- Build a framework for managing risk and customer experience at scale

- Drive the discovery phase by scoping new opportunities and suggesting features, rules and models to combat emerging risks

Qualifications:

- Strong quantitative skills, ideally with a background in statistics, maths, physics, engineering, or other scientific area

- Experience with SQL and Python

- Strong communication skills and ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions

- Ability to structure business problems with minimal supervision and prioritize problems independently

- Experience with data visualization tools and storytelling ability with data

- 4+ years of experience analyzing data in a professional setting
