## Description

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We're seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Data Center Systems team, focusing on services to monitor and control data center infrastructure.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will lead the architecture and development of application software that helps keep Amazon data centers running efficiently and securely. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the design, development, testing, and launch of new services for data acquisition, configuration, and processing in the data center infrastructure space

- Collaborating with senior and junior team members to build new features

- Ensuring thorough testing to maintain high-quality software

- Participating in on-call rotations to resolve customer issues in production systems

- Driving best practices for delivering quality products

The team uses various technologies, including Python, Java, Kotlin, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, such as massive metric ingestion, distributed systems, data visualization, anomaly detection, analytics, and graph networks.

Basic qualifications include 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, 2+ years of design or architecture experience, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
