## Description

The Assistant Security Manager serves as a system administrator, complying with DoD and Army training requirements. The role involves administering the Electronic Security System (ESS) and supporting the Government Security Manager in managing its subsystems. Key responsibilities include:

- Managing physical, personnel, information, and systems security of the facility

- Scheduling, coordinating, and implementing facility projects

- Serving as the security POC for the contract and coordinating with the Hub Security Officer and FDNY MTC Government Security Manager

- Conducting security surveys, inspections, and risk analyses

- Reporting security violations and taking corrective actions

- Overseeing government personnel providing physical security during classified events

- Monitoring personnel security clearance status and preparing the Consolidated Security Clearance Roster

- Updating and writing the Security Annex to the MTC SOP

- Assisting the Government Security Manager in duties as the MTC Classified Documents Custodian

The ideal candidate will have:

- 2+ years of related experience in a technical discipline

- Basic knowledge of alarm monitor procedures and relevant technology or subject matter

- CompTIA Security+ certification

- IAT-II technical category and level

- Active SECRET security clearance
