## Description

As a Tech Control Facility Technician III supporting AFCENT, you will help ensure today's safety and tomorrow's smartness. GDIT needs someone to solve complex problems, exercise independent judgment, and support & maintain communications systems.

Responsibilities:

- Fabricate, install, maintain, and repair electronic, mechanical, and other types of components and equipment.

- Serve as a team or task leader, coaching and reviewing the work of less-experienced professionals.

- Apply lead-level experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Tech Control Facility equipment.

- Work in an overseas location supporting military facilities.

- Provide advice and onsite training for customer support personnel.

- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.

Requirements:

- Education: Associate's degree.

- Experience: 5+ years of related experience.

- Technical Skills: Security+; CCNA (Routing and Switching or Service Provider).

- Security Clearance Level: SECRET.

- Required Skills and Abilities: Lead-level experience in maintenance/troubleshooting, including NET Promina equipment, KG, KY, KIV and ancillaries, CISCO Routers/Switches, patch panels/maintenance panels, and fiber optic modems and interface cards.
