## Description

We are seeking a Patient Intake Coordinator to join our Coram/CVS team. As a Patient Intake Coordinator, you will support the Enteral Nutrition Center with the initial admission of patients onto service with the Company.

Responsibilities:

- Process orders from referral sources and patients, respond to phone and fax inquiries, and resolve patient complaints

- Assess patient needs and document referral requests for coordination of care

- Provide information pertaining to equipment supplies and services to applicable departments

- Coordinate with the Insurance Verification Team to process patient details and collect benefit coverage information

- Relay insurance coverage to referral sources and patients and discuss forms required for billing with patients

- Training will occur virtually and must be able to work alone

- You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and know when to pivot to accomplish tasks

- You must be able to use your customer service training to be empathetic, patient, and communicate clearly and concisely both written and verbally

Requirements:

- Minimum two years experience in customer service

- Minimum two years experience in healthcare

- Minimum one year experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word

- Strong Organizational Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Insurance terminology

- Medical Benefit knowledge

- Typing skills 40-50wpm

- Multi-tasking

- Using multiple screens

- Call Center experience

- Basic math skills

- Clear, concise communication skills
