## Description

We are seeking a Systems Software Engineer to join the EA SPORTS NHL team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a Systems Software Engineer, you will work on integrating primary technologies and features in a massive codebase, improving performance, utility, and capabilities. You will collaborate with other engineers to merge modern and legacy designs across multiple hardware architectures.

Responsibilities:

- Integrate primary technologies and features in a massive codebase

- Improve memory, load times, and performance

- Debug defects in development environments

- Automate tasks and improve workflow efficiency

- Contribute to core EA technologies

- Collaborate with technical and non-technical coworkers to create practical designs

- Work with a team of Systems engineers in a collaborative environment

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of C++ development experience

- Experience with software engineering and architectural design

- Understanding of memory management, file systems, multi-core processing, and performance

- Experience with profiling tools and build systems

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

- Experience with multiple programming languages (Python, Lua, C#)

- Previous experience shipping console products
