## Description

The Medical Consumables Packing Operative will work in the Supply & Distribution department based at Rainham, providing medical equipment and consumables to front-line operations.

The role involves packing bags and pouches containing medical equipment and consumables for front-line staff responding to emergency calls, working accurately and concentrating for extended periods of time using the packing app.

The successful candidate will be focused, able to work as part of a team, and have experience of stock management.

The main duties of the job are to:

- Provide fully stocked in-date bags and pouches for patient treatment

- Maintain accurate records for traceability

- Manage stock on the packing station

- Work with the Warehouse Team Leaders to ensure the Asset Management System is up-to-date and reviewed

The role operates on a rota basis, with working days and hours scheduled to meet operational requirements.
