## Description

The Payloads organization within Boeing Commercial Aircraft 787 Program is seeking experienced Technical Designers for various positions in North Charleston, South Carolina.

The Payloads organization is responsible for designing and developing the interior of airplanes, cargo compartments, exterior markings, associated systems, and cabin safety.

As a Technical Designer, you will assist in developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in developing new design and analysis processes and tools

- Develop, maintain, and modify interior payload system and component designs using 3D Computer-Aided Design tools

- Interface with project engineering, production engineering, program/product teams, management, and technical staff

Requirements:

- Level 3: Associate's degree + 3 years; Bachelor's degree + 1 year; or 5 years related work experience

- 3+ years of experience in technical design, including modeling and technical integration

Preferred Qualifications:

- Level 4: Associate's degree + 6 years; Bachelor's degree + 4 years; or 8 years related work experience

- Experience in aerospace interiors, materials, and properties

- Knowledge of computer-aided design tools and systems

- Experience working with Model-based design and systems engineering

Salary Range:

- Career Level 3: $68,850 - $93,150

- Senior Level 4: $81,600 - $110,400
