## Description

Squires Lane Medical Practice is seeking a locum salaried GP to join their team for a minimum fixed-term period of six months, commencing on 4th September 2026.

The successful candidate will work 8 sessions per week, with daily clinical meetings to provide support and answer queries.

Key responsibilities include:

- Undertaking face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations

- Managing acute and chronic disease presentations

- Home visits where clinically appropriate or required

- Reviewing pathology and correspondence

- Prescribing in accordance with local and national guidance

- Supporting QOF, enhanced services, and quality improvement initiatives

- Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records

- Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team

- Supporting safeguarding, clinical governance, and patient safety processes

The practice uses EMIS Web and digital triage and online consultation systems such as AccuRx.

Salary will be dependent on experience.

The practice offers a supportive and inclusive culture, with a highly supportive administrative and reception team.

**Job Requirements:**

- Qualified General Practitioner

- Full GMC registration with licence to practice

- Included on the NHS England Performers List

- Evidence of continued professional development and revalidation compliance

- MRCGP qualification or equivalent

**Desirable Skills:**

- Experience using EMIS Web

- Experience with digital triage and online consultation systems such as AccuRx

- Experience supporting QOF, enhanced services, or population health initiatives
